about my journey

I discovered that resilience and discipline are not separate paths, but one journey. By overcoming struggles with drugs and alcohol, I trained my mind to endure, adapt, and rise. Ultrarunning became the proving ground—a place where fortitude forged in my journey of overcoming carried me across impossible distances I once thought were impossible.

Through Mind Over Miles, I share this truth: the strength that conquers addiction is the same strength that conquers the miles. My coaching is more than training plans—it’s a call to embrace struggle, cultivate discipline, and uncover the unbreakable spirit within.

I am more than a coach—I’m a testament to resilience. My journey began in the shadows of addiction, where I discovered that the hardest miles are not on the trail, but within the mind. Ultrarunning became my path to transformation, a proving ground where grit and soul carried me beyond what once seemed impossible.

Please see below a brief breakdown of the services I currently offer.

Mountain

1-On-1 Coaching 

Whether you're preparing for your first 50K or chasing a new ultramarathon PR, this is where we get focused. After your initial consultation, I’ll craft a personalized plan based on your fitness level and availability. The goal isn’t just completion—it’s transformation.


What’s included:


•     Flexible, customizable training plan (3–7 days/week) tailored to your goals and schedule.


•     Weekly check‑ins via WhatsApp or email, plus extra support before and after races.


•     One video call during week 3 of training.


•     Referrals to my trusted network: RMTs, nutritionists, physiotherapists, strength coaches, supplement and recovery specialists.


•     Collaboration with your existing health team if desired.

Preset Race Plans

Looking for a more budget‑friendly option without sacrificing structure or support? These pre‑set plans offer a comprehensive training experience—delivered all at once via Training Peaks, typically starting on a Monday and aligned with your race date.


What’s included:


•     Structured training plan uploaded in full.


•     Flexibility in how you approach each workout.


•     Periodic communication and check‑ins.


•     Access to my personal network of specialists for additional support.

Tuneup & Recovery 

Whether you are starting from scratch, you are ready to set a new goal, or you have just completed yours and want to recover before the next training block, this phase is designed to prepare you for the training plan. It will also be helpful for your fitness evaluation (Build-up) or recovery training after your race Recovery).  It also acts as an injury prevention by getting your body, muscles, and tendons ready to handle the next training load and focusing your mind on developing new positive habits toward your upcoming goals.


What’s included:

  • ​Customize 1 month training plan according to your current fitness level and goals.

 

  • The plan is tailored around your busy life (student, full-time worker, family obligations) and is adjustable weekly as needed.

 

  • The goal of the Build-up is to create accountability for new and positive habits within your schedule and to work on your base fitness at a lower cost

As an ultramarathon running coach, I specialize in guiding athletes to conquer distances beyond the traditional marathon. My approach combines personalized training plans with a focus on mental resilience, nutrition, and injury prevention. Whether you're aiming to complete your first 50K or seeking to improve your performance in 100-250-mile races, I provide the expertise and support to help you achieve your goals. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges of ultramarathon running, I'm dedicated to helping you unlock your full potential and cross the finish line stronger than ever.

 

My coaching philosophy centers on building a strong coach-athlete relationship, where open communication and mutual trust are paramount. I take a holistic view of training, considering not just the physical aspects but also the importance of recovery, sleep, and stress management. By incorporating cutting-edge training methodologies and data analysis, I ensure that every workout is purposeful and contributes to your overall development. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to excel in ultramarathons, while fostering a lifelong love for the sport.
